Yoga can create stability, strength, and flexibility in both mind and body. It can also be an intimidating activity for many. Private yoga allows us to work 1-on-1 with you and create a tailored practice to meet your needs and goals.

What will the process look like?
We ask a few specific questions to get a clearer understanding of where you’re at and what goals you have. Then we’ll guide you through a 45-60 min custom practice that evolves as you do.

Small Group Yoga
Why small group yoga?
While beneficial to everyone, this is especially applicable for those who may be new to yoga and seek more guidance, those who have had an injury or event in their life that has taken them out of yoga and want to mindfully work their way back in, pregnant or postpartum women or someone who may just a want a smaller class setting.
What will this series look like?
- A personalized assessment of your body, movement and injury history, identification of imbalances that may have created physical, mental or emotional obstacles
- Six week yoga series designed based on the information gained in the initial assessment
- Focus on movement, breath and core in a small group setting (6 people MAX) offering modifications, adjustments and cues as needed throughout the practice
- End of series re-assessment to evaluate your progress and to discuss action steps for how to integrate this into your practice and your life off the mat

Rei – Spiritual Wisdom
Ki – Life Energy
Reiki is an ancient Japanese method of balancing energy in the body that is based on the Eastern concept of Life Energy. The experience of Reiki is subjective and varying, unique to each individual. Reiki’s effects can be subtle and other times profound, intense and emotional. It can also work in alliance with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery and healing.

Most clients feel a sense of calm, relaxation and lightness. In some situations, clients may experience deep emotional release. Some clients may feel slight tingling, warmth, or pulsing sensations in their body during a sessions. Some clients simply feel a deep sense of relaxation.
What will the process look like?
Each session is 45- 60 min. A complete Reiki session is given to a fully clothed recipient who rests comfortably on a massage table. Reiki is given through light touch of the practitioner’s hands placed on a series of locations on the body where Reiki and energetic support is needed. (You can also request that your practitioner not apply their hands directly to your body.)

Living a fulfilling and healthy life is a pro-active process, not just taking care of ourselves when we’re sick or depressed. Cultivating a lifestyle of self-care is preventative medicine in action. It’s learning to make the conscious choices now that your future self will thank you for.

What will the process look like?
Initial consult will be 60-90 minutes in length, and subsequent sessions will be 45 minutes in length. We’ll ask a few specific questions to shine a light on what’s holding you back from where you want to be and then, together, create a personalized roadmap. This journey will focus on personal inquiry and cultivating a more balanced approach to your health with an emphasis on movement, mindset and energy.
As your guide, we’re here to support you in the process of finding success, on your terms. We keep the dialogue open and honest, focusing on the subtle shifts as well as the big picture!

After a very tough time in my life, losing my husband of 33 years to cancer, selling the home we shared, moving to a condo that just didn’t feel right, and finally relocating to La Crosse to be closer to one of my daughters and her family, I happened upon PALM + PINE.
