Hannah Beilke
Hannah (she/her) found yoga during college while training as a collegiate runner. She quickly learned that the mat was a safe place where she could slow down, be present, get to know herself better, and improve as a person both mentally and physically. Hannah completed PALM+PINE’s YTT in 2021 and has been hooked on sharing yoga with others ever since. As a coach, she has been leading yoga for her athletes along with growing in her practice over the past few years. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time on the trails, camping, cuddling with her fur babies, drinking coffee, making tasty food, and spending time with her friends and family.
Renae Budd
Renae (she/her) was originally introduced to yoga in a Thai massage training in 2007. Renae found the practice more fully in 2008 when someone suggested she could find a better coping mechanism and she said, " I didn't hate that yoga thing." What has ultimately been a challenging and fulfilling yoga practice unfolded from there. Renae is particularly interested in the intersection of yoga and social justice and has attended many trainings in this subject matter. Outside of yoga, Renae is a trained aerialist, loves hiking, mountains, hot weather, and the desert.
Anne Carlson
Anne (she/her) found yoga in her teens and giggled through most classes. She found true refuge on her mat after welcoming her second child. The movement and breath unlocked new possibilities within and reminded her that she was more than enough just as she is. Anne continued to dive into the practice as a way of flowing through life with more ease. Practicing yoga, she found bravery and confidence and that carried out into life off of the mat. After being a member at PALM + PINE for a few years she was excited to see a Studio Coordinator position at the studio advertised. After applying and being accepted for the position (she still pinches herself) the rest is history. A year into working behind the desk and practicing yoga even more she decided to use her bravery to finally sign up for Yoga Teacher Training through PALM + PINE. You'll find her instructing and taking care of the studio experience at La Crosse and Holmen throughout the week. When not working behind the desk, on the mat, or taking care of our many, many plants, you can find Anne exploring the great outdoors with her husband and two boys.
Kelly Christopherson
Kelly (she/her) first found yoga in 2019 and was instantly hooked. The more she found herself on the mat, the more empowered and joyful she became. The victory Kelly felt both physically and mentally led to pursuing her 200-hr yoga certification. Kelly is committed to helping students grow their confidence, strength, and energy in a way that inspires them to find joy and freedom in their lives. When Kelly isn't teaching or practicing, she is spending time with her hubby Scott and their kids, in the kitchen trying a new recipe, snuggled up with a good book or Netflix, or enjoying her beloved coffee.
Kayleigh Day
Kayleigh (She/her) took her first yoga class in college originally out of curiosity, but soon noticed the impact it had on her overall mental health, stress, and anxiety. Kayleigh utilizes her personal yoga practice as a tool for healing, self-exploration and creating a more just world. She strives to facilitate a practice that is accessible and empowers students to tune into their own inner wisdom. A constantly curious yogi and lifelong learner, you can find Kayleigh exploring yoga philosophy, health, social justice, mindfulness, cooking and traveling every chance she gets.
Sara Docan-Morgan
Sara (she/her) is thrilled to join the PALM + PINE team as a teacher. She completed her 200-hour YTT training in spring 2024 but has been practicing yoga for many years. Yoga has helped her manage her ongoing patterns of overthinking and perfectionism, as well as find many moments of healing and peace. An educator for over two decades, she is excited to bring her love for yoga to other students and to create classes that are welcoming, invitational, fun, and grounded in social justice practices.
Brittany Ealey
A fitness enthusiast, Brittany (she/her) started practicing yoga in 2009 to maintain flexibility for workouts. After more time on her mat, she discovered how yoga also helped her reduce stress & be more present in daily life. As a teacher, Brittany strives to create space for others to empower themselves in growth & wellness. Besides yoga, Brittany has a deep love for Jesus, live music, spending time outdoors, & being a wife + mama.
Andrea Frisch
Andrea (She/They) started practicing yoga 15 years ago when she took a beginner Iyengar class at the Yoga Place, La Crosse. Throughout her life, she has used her practice to navigate life's challenges and connect with her body. Yoga has helped her slow down, listen, and adjust to give her body the support she needs, with plenty of props! As a Recreation Therapist, Andrea melded her knowledge of adaptive activities with 200 Hour Yoga Instructor training. She has led varied classes, with a focus on universal design and inclusion. When Andrea is off the mat, she can be found in her garden, in nature, or hanging out with her human and fury/feathery family.
Kelly Hewitt
Kelly (she/her) was introduced to yoga as a child with a kit and a VHS. She has returned to yoga practice in college and in graduate school. Yoga helps her to calm her mind and connect with her body when life gets hectic. Kelly completed PALM + PINE's YTT in spring 2024, the journey began initially as a way to learn more about the roots of yoga and has transformed into making yoga accessible to all bodies. Kelly is interested in social justice and bringing it into the yoga space whenever possible. Outside of yoga, Kelly loves to work with animals.
Alyson Illstrup
Alyson (she/her), first found her way to PALM + PINE when she was pregnant with her second babe and looking for another way to move for body. Yoga challenged her in a completely new way and she’s been hooked ever since! Alyson has been teaching private yoga sessions to her own tiny humans for years and is excited to be able to bring this to other families. She has a deep love for chocolate chip cookies, loves a good book with a cup of mint tea and will agree to almost any activity that gets her outside.
Skylar Jensen
Skylar (she/her) found yoga during college and immediately found peace within the four corners of her mat. Yoga to her, is a second home and an outlet for all of the things that life brings on. She is overjoyed to be teaching but understands her journey as a student is far from over, because yoga is a forever learning experience. Off the mat, Skylar is a student and an artist. She enjoys live music, hanging out at the beach, swimming, and playing with her dog.
Tina McGivern
Tina (she/her) started practicing yoga 8 years ago and has been learning and evolving her practice ever since! As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hospice & Palliative Care with an extensive background in trauma-informed care, you can be sure her classes will be safe, restorative, and accessible to anyone. She is a huge supporter of education and exploration of mindfulness, spirituality, and mental well-being and you can find her incorporating these elements into her classes. When she isn’t on her mat she can be found spending time with her mini, traveling the world, and exploring nature.
Kaitlin Northrup
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Kaitlin (she/her) values and utilizes all that, both, yoga and massage therapy have to offer to aid people in healing their mind, body, and soul. Yoga has been a large part of her life for 10+ years and through her training felt empowered, helped build her strength and self-confidence, and gained a stronger sense of wanting to help people do the same.
Erica Pedralozi
Erica (she/her) first found yoga when PALM + PINE opened in 2017 as a supplement to group strength training. After stepping away for a few years, she found herself returning to PALM + PINE in 2022 as a way to escape from the stressors of life. During PALM + PINE's 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program she soon recognized that yoga had provided her the tools in dealing with the stressors as they come up in life instead of being an escape. When not teaching or participating in a class, Erica enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and snuggling up with her pups.
Rebecca Schwarz
Rebecca (she/her) began practicing yoga in 2009 as a way to stay fit and feel good. It quickly became something much more; a mind/body connection that benefits every area of her life. She strives to honor the origins of yoga and make its many benefits accessible to anyone who wants to feel better in their own body and care for themselves in a holistic way. She holds a certification in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. Her goal in practicing and teaching is to "come home to yourself" and stay curious about what your body is capable of.
Kat Soper
Kat (she/her), studio owner and E-RYT 500, has been teaching yoga for 12+ years. She passionately believes yoga is a brave practice of connection and belonging, to ourselves and one another.
Kat weaves down-to-earth philosophy, creativity, and curiosity into every practice. Expect to feel both challenged and grounded in her yoga classes, with options to take or leave anything that comes along. She is happiest when enjoying a taco (or 5) and dancing to live music under an open sky with her two little kids and hubby.
Barb Stelloh
Barb (she/her), was originally drawn to yoga by the physical practice, but she quickly sensed shifts in the body and noticed how those shifts affected life off of the mat, and that's what kept her coming back to eventually dive deeper. Barb's passionate about emphasizing the energetic elements of the yoga practice and supporting people to tune-in with their bodies externally and internally. When not on the mat, Barb enjoys canoeing, camping, winemaking, gardening, hiking, hockey.
Amy Venner
As a fitness enthusiast, Amy (she/her) was first drawn to yoga as a way to move on her rest days from higher-intensity workouts. She soon found that she felt not only felt physically better after practicing yoga, but her mental health benefitted as well. Amy is married with 4 girls and a dog, Bruno. When the family isn’t running the girls to dance or gymnastics classes, you’ll find them hiking, having bonfires or spending time on the river.
