“I completed a 230hr Yoga Teacher Training with Kat in October of 2017 and the experience was nothing short of life changing. Kat’s patience, humility and humor creates a safe space for students to explore themselves as well as their yoga practice. My training with Kat, Sara and Jill gave me the confidence to teach yoga as well confidence in myself and my ability to be a calm, positive person in every aspect of my life.” – Michelle
“This yoga teacher training was everything I wanted and more. I feel confident that I can guide future students through a practice that is safe and sustainable, while also incorporating yoga philosophy and spirituality. Not only did I learn how to guide others through their practice, but I also deepened my connection to myself and my own practice.” – Kayleigh
“Going into the anatomy portion of training, I was excited to learn something new, but also intimidated by my lack of knowledge and the vastness of the topic. Jill’s positive and upbeat energy on day one made me forget about any insecurities I had. She presented a lot of detailed material in a very approachable and understandable way.” – Barb
“My journey in yoga teacher training with Kat Soper was nothing short of life-changing. Kat’s extensive knowledge, individual attention, and unique ability to push you to live at your greatest capability is what makes her teacher training program above all others. Her passion for yoga is undoubtedly apparent in each conversation, lesson, yoga class, etc that she leads. I am deeply grateful for having completed my yoga teacher training with Kat- she is an inspiration for all. Her wealth of knowledge mixed with her kind moral compass makes her an exceptional guide through training as well as life as a whole. The lessons and work I did throughout training will be ones I forever return to throughout my entire life.” – Lindsay
“When I was initially considering the YTT program at PALM+PINE, I was on the apprehensive end of the spectrum. Being self-employed, I thought it would be too much to tack on to my already busy and unpredictable schedule. I was also more compelled to explore my personal practice versus being a yoga teacher someday, so I wasn’t 100% sure if it was the right fit for me. After the completion of my 230-hour training, I can honestly say that it was hands-down, one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. It opened up doors for personal growth and inquiry that I wouldn’t have been introduced to otherwise. Kat’s knowledge, attention to detail, and passion for yoga is what makes this experience so special for people. I will forever be grateful to her, this experience, other facilitators of this program & my classmates!” – Dani
“My PALM + PINE YTT experience was absolutely incredible! The instructors cultivate a welcoming environment for yogis at all levels to learn about the physical, spiritual, and ethical aspects of a yoga practice. They prepared us to teach individuals and groups with all backgrounds and abilities, which was really important to me. I especially appreciated the inclusion of the karma project which involves teaching a 4-series yoga class to an underserved population in the community. It was amazing to hear everyone’s success stories of adapting yoga with different groups! It was so clear throughout the program that Kat thoughtfully and intentionally crafted this training to support our growth as students and teachers of yoga. The past six months has transformed the way I see my yoga practice, as well as the way I see myself and the world!” – Christina
